What I'll be missing
Ready for the move, etc,,,
I'm sitting at my table looking out into the front yard. There are 13 turkeys pecking around right now even with my truck backed up to the porch. The deer should be here soon.

You will miss this terribly! You may be looking at traffic, annoying neighbors, sounds of sirens, trains, loud trucks. The solitude is worth gold!

I know, but this a move of neccesity. I'm thinking Airsoft for the local furballs that seem to be hanging out around the carport.

thats what i love about our new place - we left the sub-division lifestyle where all we had were loud and nosey neighbors, traffic, and other BS - the property still needs a bunch of work, but turkey and deer are out there all the time, along with other critters - heck a couple weeks ago I spotted a coyote in the back yard in middle of the day - gonna have to get rid of that bugger...

boatme98, I am in Cross Plains (Robertson County) - just up Rte 65 - White House is about 5 miles away and Portland is about 8 miles away - love it up here! Was in Mt Juliet since late 2005 and just moved here about 2 months ago - so much quieter here! we have 9 acres and are surrounds by lots of woods and farmland

This place is on the North side of Cordell Hull Lake. About 2 miles from Defeated Creek Marina.
C.H. Lake is a pretty well kept secret in Tenn. There's no building on the lake so no private docks and gigantic country star mcmansions. Just bass boats, john boats, and broke down houseboats.
