Rail guns using magnetically accellerated projectiles are new and being developed.

Also the Metalstorm gun is another prototype.

this 'what if' thread is pointless.
because before guns it was knives.
before knives it was stones and sticks.
before that it was fists.

you cant disarm man.

because man was designed to protect himself and what was his. it was part of the creation mandate.

when the brits war'ed with us in the revolutionary war...what was the first thing they did? they raided the armories. did we panic?

no. we made kentuky rifles.

all you conspiracy and shtf guys are all pooping your pants for nothing. man will never be disarmed.

all these ideas were invented once already. study old gun books and youd realize the materials have changed, but the concepts are old.

Yup, so true! Just look how my forefathers in Scotland beat back the Brits time and again with the equivalent of Sticks and Stones. My fathers namesake William Wallace had a movie made about his successes (and his final horrible demise), Brave Heart!

Many Americans are related to the Pre-Norman Borenician-Scottish tribes. These are the people who were cast out after 1206 BC by both the Scotts and and the English.
They were the "Troublesome Border people". James I sent them to lower England and Ireland. These people were rebels by their DNA. Many of them would settle in the South-Eastern U.S. and migrate to Texas. They were after all the Comanches of Europe.
These people would be the horse back warriors in such Units as the Texas Rangers that ended the Plains Indians empire. Many Americans are products of this ancient "Blood".

Sorry to rain on your parade. But bloodline has little to do with it. Most of our forefathers would be ashamed to see what their offspring have become. It is hard to believe that in several generations the children of the men that settled this country have turned into a bunch of obese couch potatoes. It is starting to look like the only fit people left are in the military. Of course that is an exageration. But not that big of one.
Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
