What I listened to the whole time in Iraq

This is the "Incoming" alarm at the base I was at in Iraq. This alarm goes off when either rockets or mortars are flying into/over within 100 yards of your location.

I couldn't sleep deeply the whole time I was over there. It's kinda scary to listen to those sirens for me (still gives me the chills).....:(

God bless our troops.

Was there an attack during this particular video, or was it just a false alarm? Was that you with your arm up against the wall at 18 seconds?

No this isn't me video taping or in this video. Someone else on the FOB took it.

In this video, since you can't really hear impacts, the rockets must be flying directly over that location which is causing the incoming alarms to set off. If the rockets were aimed at that location, you would've heard the impacts.

You'll learn to sleep lightly...lol.

I still get jumpy around the 4th of July and New Years.

Comes with the territory.:(
