southland to me shows that most LEO are just regular people with the a lot of the same problems that everyone has. it just seems realistic and more down to earth IMO.

YES, Heat was a really good movie. Die Hard series showed Bruce Willis at his best in action movies.

My favorite is the Eastwood film with Saundra Locke filmed in Santa Cruz, where he lets her go, when he finds out she is the serial killer, who was killing the men who raped her, Sudden Impact. It is the ultimate CCW movie, in a state that violates the concept of CCW.

Training Day shows an odd concoction of police corruption for drug money. I could not appreciate the killing scene of Scott Glenn though, so I did not enjoy it. Although I don't doubt there is corruption everywhere there is money, I think the film is far fetched.

Shaft and dark blue are both good. Kinda gotta throw tombstone and us marshalls in there also. Even though tombstone isnt really a cop movie.
