Already been there and done that. Learned to live with it. An afghanistan deployment with 6 months solid in the mountains, I learned about many things I can live without.

Amen to that!

I'd like to live in the '40-50 era. And maybe in the '60s.

The roarin 20's might not have been too bad either!

The planet is +/-6,000 years old and it started with Adam and Eve.

You seem to have a misconception of how good cars were in the old days.
In the '50s and '60s a car was considered worn out at 50,000 miles. Now it is not unusual to get 200,000 out of a car. The older cars had bad brakes, no seat belts or air bags, they had glass that would cut you to ribbons and steering columns that could penetrate your chest in a fender-bender. Tires were not near as good as today.Ten to fifteen miles to a gallon of (.$29 ) gas was considered average

Cars are one of the things that have improved a great deal in my lifetime.

86,87,88 'bout killed me dead!

One of the best stage shows i have ever witnessed was Def Leppard in the round in 1986 for the hysteria tour...and you forgot to mention one of THE BEST live bands of the 80's...Tesla! Tesla came out on stage and upstaged Def Leppard in that show and they didnt have the multi million $$ light show!

You also didnt mention Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Metalica,(when they didnt suck) and Rush. i am sure many other i am not thinking of yet. Back when my music collection was impossible to lift, much less fit in my pocket!

Filmed none other than ME...

Another i filmed some years earlier...this tuned caused my eldest...saw Radio controversy show in MI then the next night in IN

So your one of those new world types? I am too to an extent, biggest difference between me and die hard new worlders is I just think there's things God just didn't see fit to tell us. You have to admit, the time issue has some mystery. I asked a theology professor (who is a new worlder) how he accounts for dinosaurs and the billions of years scientists say our earth has been here. He brought up a really good point when he asked me "just what does that have to do with your salvation?" I haven't worried about the age of the earth since then.
