I wouldn't swap a dang thing. I keep a full belly, I stay in a warm house, I don't have to use an out-house. I don't have to deal with a damn horse. I got to see the first man in space and the first man land on the moon. I didn't have to fight my way through France in '18 or '44.

Before about 1900, you would be an old man at 40 and usually dead by 50. Go back to the middle ages and you would be old at 30, and not expect to live past 40.

You couldn't drag me back in time. Now I would like to go about another 30 years into the future, but I am willing to be patient to do that.

I wouldn't go back but I did have fun in Las Vegas for 4 years in the late 60's and early 70's. Every day was party time and I was a party animal. Sometimes I would do 4 different chix a week. There was no aids to worry about and chix were easy to give it up back then. I would shoot skeet about 2 times a week when the chix would let me.
You know the thing that bugs me most is...I never even knew there names, not that it mattered because I always gave them a phony name anyway.
Sweet Memories we cherish of days gone by, for we'll never see them again before we die.

I'd like to live for six months in every decade since the creation of the world.

The planet is about 4.4 billion years old. What you're asking for is for your life to span many millions of years (215 million years or thereabouts, if my math is right). Clean livin' is the answer if you want to go that long.

The brainiacs figure we've only had oxygen for about 3.5 billion of those years. That first 900 million years is a long time to hold your breath.

I agree 100% with this statement! These are the 4 eras I would like to visit, but not live in, (although the 40's don't seem to bad.)

That first billion years or so would be kind of rough, what with the unsettled nature of things.
