best to be feared and hated than liked and not respected. your libs and ours want to be liked and ridiculed. the aussies ive met ive liked havent had any dealings with the englanders but if they anything like the aussies i imagine i would get along. a sense of humour goes a long way.

1. Hammer Horror- For the time frame, nothing produced anywhere else compared.

2. Kate Bush- "Where the water and the earth caress and the down of a peach says, mmmm, yes". Compare that to any line in "My Humps".

3. The Avengers- You wanted to see Steed and Emma hook up, but you also knew it would ruin it. The producers showed restraint.

4. Father Ted- You owe it to yourself.

5. The Young Ones- Classic

6. Bond- 22 films spanning 5 decades.

7. Fairbain Sykes Commando- A nastier piece of steel doesn't exist.

8. Breaking Glass- The best movie you've never seen.

9. The .303- My next rifle purchase.

10. Obama- You don't have him.

11. Candy Davis-

12. The Jingle Ball- Partayyyy!!!!

13. Hats- The Bowler, the Trilby, the Holmberg.

14. Shawn of the Dead- Yeah, we invented the Zombie movie, but we let it get away from us. Shawn brought it back around.

15. The Sten- Everybody loves the AK for it's simplicity. With a pipe and a spring, it simply doesn't get simpler.

16. Caroline Munro-

17. Oi! Bands- Getting pumped

18. Ska Bands- Chilling out

19. Candy- I hit a little store, I think it was called the Teapot, and they had a variety, so I bought samples of most of their stuff. Champion.

20. Lara Croft- I'll be doing a thread in the near future.

English is a race? Well, if so then...

The Brits are second to only the Aussies in being the longest standing allies to the colonists. It took a few years after the ass whoopin for your gubmit to come around, but when you did you went in only like the Brits can. Hard arsed and full out. Love you guys and your support. You do need to get the Socialists out of the mix, though.

Anyway, you folk hate the French even more than we do, so that has to account for something.

Benny Hill, Monty Python and Top Gear is all I need to say what-what. Wink-wink-nudge-nudge-know what I mean?

Only issues are the damned Royals BS. Another Royal wedding coming up. AAAGGGHH Royal pain if you asked me. Even more annoying then all the celebrity crap we get over here.

I did like Diana though.

And of course the bad gun laws. You all are setting a bad example for all our puzzy liberals to try to follow.

Default Of this I am deeply ashamed

Taken from Canes conservative thread.

Winston Churchill is rolling over in his grave.

My advice to the American families of the victims is to not wait for Barry O to strongly condemn the United Kingdom for this murderer-for-oil deal. What these families should do is to call a press conference and make a united statement condemning the United Kingdom.

It appears that the United Kingdom has become a spineless and weak people and country. Like France, they used to be an international power. No more. These are not my words but the words of a London cab driver who I spoke with a couple of years ago. The cabby told me he desperately wanted to leave the United Kingdom and move to America. I wanted to give him a gun, but instead told him to remember the Alamo.

So, while a bureaucratic punk in the Brown administration was busy denying radio talk show host Michael Savage entry into the United Kingdom for "hate speech," the same Brown government was in negotiations with a terrorist supporting nation to trade a mass murderer for oil. Just another reason to never trust a bureaucratic government punk.

The London cabby was only part right when he told me the United Kingdom was weak. Little did he know, but his government was also cutting deals with terrorists.

The sun long ago set on the United Kingdom’s empire. All that remains can be swept under the rug in Gaddafi’s tent.

I fully anticipated a good ( and probably well deserved ) kicking for this shameful epidode in our recent history.
