I've got almost 20 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections. Not as a convict but as an officer (Lt.) My main job is locksmith but as an Lt. I also fill in as shift commander and I occasionally teach firearms at the academy and to staff the need to re-qual. The firearms is the fun part of my job. That and being a member of the Escape team. It's not a bad job. I've had worse and got paid less.

Right now I am a Student, working on two degrees in IT. I hope to work in the network engineering field for a large company or the govt.

not much gun buying on my Gi Bill budget since I had to buy a new car last year. old one went dead and it was going to cost $1200 to fix a $1500 car. I figured why when I just put $400 into it about a month before.

Was a builing contractor 15 years,
was a gunsmith 7 years,
was a "hard to find gun parts and sporting goods manufacturer (owner) for 5 years,
was a building department official for 12 years,
am a realtor and loan broker for the last 2 years,
now am sitting here typing into this forum and wondering what is next.
I love fishing and hunting. If I could just find a way to make enough money at it I would be doing it.

The more I think about it, if your job does not give you joy and satisfaction, it is time to do something else.

I know that I would never want to be tied to a cubicle again.

I've been in a variety of computer related jobs whole my life: programmer, tech support, web developer, graphic designer, ...

Now I'm half in general management for a race bike company, half in "computer" jobs.
