I don't carry because its near impossible to get a permit in Maryland. However I am not worried because it's also illegal to shoot people in Maryland.

Then I guess you don't have a violent crime problem either?

From 2008 stats: 35,393 Violent Crimes, 493 Murders, 1,127 Rapes, 13,203 robberies, 20,570 Aggravated Assaults, 38,849 Burglaries.

Sounds safe enough!

I either carry my Taurus 24/7 Pro 9mm or Colt 1991A1 .45

Oregon is a shall issue state, check the crime rates here http://www.disastercenter.com/crime/orcrime.htm

Default I carry 1 of 3 Options

Hello all, RON L here - SERE SURPLUS

I cary 1 of 3 Options depending on my Mood, the weather and what ever:

1. beretta M-21A 22LR Pocket gun, Usually in Front Pocket with a Inside the pants holster and I carry 2 extra mags somewhere, this is usaully my Got to have something gun!

2. Rock Island Full size 1991A1 Clone in 45 ACP with a Leather Holster stong side carry or small of the back carry and 2 extra mags somewhere!

3. M-95 Classic, Full Size Argintine Licenced Copy of the Browning High Power in 9MM with 13 shot mags, I can carry gun in same holster as the Rock Island or a Uncle mikes Shoulder Rig, I like in cold weather and rainy situations, I also carry 1 2 spare mags!

With the right Holster the Full size guns are not all that hard to carry or Conseal and the M-21A Pocket gun is a Gun I like when I wear sweat pants and or shorts! While not as capable a gun as the 45 or the 9MM it is at least some Gun and it's a gun I have gotten used to and can hit decent targets with it, not just accross the card table! Plus being 22LR it's cheaper to shoot and was easier to get good with at the range and to trust, Plus the TIP up Barrel is nice so can shoot shorts and longs, if I run accroess them! Good Companion to a targer 22 Rifle at home that also shots all 3 22 cartridges!

RON

I like to carry my Llama Max 1 .45 ACP. It's a spanish copy of the 1911 full size, but if we are going out in the summer time I sometimes will drop my Charter Arms Bull Dog Pug .44 in my boot. It's nice it only has a 2 inch barrel and is quite compact for a .44. Quite an eye opener at the range also.

I was being sarcastic but until Maryland changes from a May issue to a Shall issue almost no one can get a permit.

1911 full size, inside the pants rig, small of my back, extra magazine in my pocket. AR in the right front truck seat. Under the back seat if I have to, and I mean HAVE to go to the stinking city.

There is always an 870 in the truck.
If I am carrying and it is warm I carry my P95 in a waistband holster with 2 mags in a pocket or a leg puch. When its cool and I wear a coat (especially out on the property) I carry the S&W .44Mag. It always works with one shot and if you run out of ammo it is a large enough to beat something to death.
