Default What are the different types of finishes?

I tried googling, but it did not yield exactly what I wanted. I want to know every kind of finish for a gun. Here are the ones I know of:
rust (for like a 1700's rifle or musket)
bluing
stainless
parkerized

Are there any others?

There's also browning. It's quite similar to bluing in that it's a controlled form of oxidation-like controlled rusting. The rust you refer to in the old days is actually browning. I'm assuming you don't want to include chrome or nickel plating or the different coatings available now days.

Add spray-on or painted, and plating (like nickel)
