I know someone who bought a colt ar15 for 90 dollars. The guy he bought it from found it in storage unit that he worked at. The person didn't pay their bill and never showed themselves and guns weren't allowed in the unit. The guy selling it didn't know what it was and sold it for 90 dollars.

I bought an Astra .44 mag revolver for $60. I think I paid $20 for my first firearm, a Marlin model 60, in 1984. I have no idea what it was worth back then though.

I just got back from the ol' hook and bullet store and saw an ancient looking single shot 12 gauge for $75

I bought a Marlin model 60 for $30 at a pawn shop 26 years ago.

I was given a RG R-66 revolver that was broke. The parts to fix it cost about $10.00 plus shipping.
Still have it.

Man, some of you guys got great deals. I've had a few. I lucked out and got my Ruger Single-Six for $90 back in the early-90s. My uncle got me my Swedish Mauser for $75 at a gun show. It had a professionally repair crack on the buttstock so that brought it down from around $150 or so that they went for back in the early 90s. Both have been very cool guns to have in the collection!
