So what do ya'll think of the Taurus judge in 3" shotshells? I was thinking that 000 buck would be fine for home defense in the judge. Am I wrong or have I just bought the hype train ticket that taurus is sellin'?

It's not my personal choice, but here is your pistol versus The Box of Truth

If your mind is made up, then this should give you a very accurate idea of what the weapon is capable of...

My CCW I would take if I was at the age would be a CZ RAMI in .40 Cal

I'm not a big .40 cal man as I am either a 9 MM or .45 guy but I'd rather have that over 9 mm in CCW

And it's a sexy gun and a perfect pocket pistol.
Looks like a key fob.

Does it light cigars?

The thing about the "box o truth" is that it was done with a 2 1/2" cylinder and not the 3 and also was not fired in 000 buck.. or buck at all. Do you think 000 buck shot would put someone down?

I stand corrected. I hadn't realized there was a "next" at the bottom of the page

After reading the entire article I wondered if a different type of ammo would produce better results.

I carry my Taurus PT 145 its a reliable pistol and it holds 10 rounds of 45 in the magazine.I have two other 45 pistols also but they are a lot bigger and the Taurus is more concealable its also accurate for self defense .Whatever type of handgun you get practice with it and get comfortable in using it.

Are you willing to bet your life, and those of your family, on that thought?
