Seattle?? Holy crap, you aren't far away at all...

I would say ANY .22lr is the most fun to shoot. The one you have in your hands, because they are all fun.

I have a .22 1911 and it's a great practice rifle.

I have a Ruger 10/22 that is just plain old, golf ball shooting fun. throw a few out there and take turns blasting them further down the field.

I have an old Mauser WWII training rifle that my grandfather had in bootcamp that he "appropriated" and gave to me as my first rifle ever. That little bolt action will shoot dimes all day at like 75-80 yards....

.22's are just plain good old shooting fun for everyone.

ANY you can get your hands on. Shooting is like sex or drugs. They're only as good as what you are getting at the time. Seriously. Think about it.

I was just looking at the AK 47 22lr.
That looks pretty fun. Not really for target shooting , but fun.

I like shooting my Marlin model 60. It was my first rifle. Got it for christmas when I was about 12. Still love shooting it to this day.
