A plane has been purposely crashed into a building in Austin. It appears to be an attack on the IRS who has offices in this building.

Any word on how many people were hurt?

I'm sorry to say that I don't think we are anywhere near the end of terrorist attacks on this nation. Thank you, obamalamadingdong.

Here we go, this should get interesting. I'm hoping there was no loss of life inside.

Wheelspin 02-18-2010 04:45 PM

CNN are on top of the story, no word on casualties as yet.

On Fox News:

They know who the pilot was and he may have set his own house on fire first. 2 persons taken to the hospital and 1 unaccounted for.

From Fox News

The FBI spokesman also told Fox News that as of 10:30 a.m. local time. There was nothing to indicate that this targeted the FBI or that the crash was terrorism-related.

"The building lies along a flight path," the spokesman said, so right now it looks like an "accident."

My son is in Austin. Scared the crap out of me until I heard he was miles away. He said two unaccounted for at the time.

robocop10mm 02-18-2010 05:00 PM

Early word is he was going through a divorce, IRS troubles, burned his own house down this morning, got his plane and flew it into the building.

If the FBI is treating it as an accident, they are morons.

cpttango30 02-18-2010 05:19 PM

I agree robo. They need to treat is as a intentional act just not a terrorist act.

spittinfire 02-18-2010 05:48 PM

You're right tango, I shouldn't have assumed it was terrorists.
