DVR is set and I enjoy this show as well. Just love the practical attitude:

Actually in Silverado Kevin Kline had to buy the pos and ended up shooting two guys with it, the one who had his horse and the one who had his hat and gun.

Good show, well acted and written.

I gotta ask, though. Why the hell are all of the cable channels running their series' for like 8 weeks? Then, 6 months later, another 6-8 weeks. I've asked before, and nobody can answer it for me. Friggin USA does it as well. I gotta get me a DVR. It's like living in the dark ages.

I love it when they do that, if I had to wait for a year to see Burn Notice, Justified or Two and a Half Men I would be like a crack addict going through withdrawls. It drives me nuts that I have to wait for SOA.

Wasn't it the movie the Quick and the Dead with Russel Crowe when he borrowed that POS for the gunfight against the Indian?

I enjoyed it. Looks like a pretty good start.

I agree. Hard to look tough with a plastic brick in your hand.

I agree, Glock is an undeniable success but it is a budget minded firearm and not exactly a signature piece.

Besides, Raylan is a rebel at heart and why would a rebel follow the heard and use a dept issue firearm ?

I like the idea of giving him a unique signature gun. Kind of like Rick's Python on The Walking Dead.

It would be great to see a BETTER gun in his hand, like a 1911(yeah, that's right GLOCK boys, I went there) but if you watch the extras on the DVD, it explains it. That model GLOCK is/was the standard issue for the US Marshall's service. They were trying to be accurate. Nevermind the fact that a marshal killing THAT many people would likely be out of a job in this day and age...

Great show though, I love it.
