Default About the good old times....

I'm glad that I had the chance to talk with my elders... knowing how it was before I was born... I had the pleasure to know 2 of my great-grandmothers, all of my grandparents (just only my mother's father has passed away)...
Even today I talk a lot with my father about how was when he was a kid (I did so with my mother when she was alive), many friends of mine always ask to me when they need to know something about the good old times... In matter of fact I still love the old music, to my friends I'm a premature old man.

Well I'm older than dirt. IGETEVEN,you left out outhouses,I was around 8yrs old when we got indoor plumbing in my families new house and still remember running out back and then back in the house and asking dad where the outhouse was,he had a good laugh and then showed me that we had an indoor restroom. Oh yeah, what was milk delivery, hell we had to milk the cows by hand every morning.

Remembered every single one of them. I guess I'll be even older when they start dropping out of memory. But I tell my kids I am looking forward to Altzheimer's anyway.

Indeed, those would have been good additions to the list. Wished I had thought to add them as an after thought to the original list. I am not that old to have used a outhouse, but I remember having the big iron claw bathtubs and having to milk them damn cows as well.

24 of 25 don't remember Black Jack gum. Also used a steel tub for bath that we heated and poured water in. Helped Dad put in the indoor plumbing when I was about 5. Good old days. Didn't have alot but enjoyed every day.
