Don't want to ruin it for you, but Bruce Willis is actually dead throughout the whole movie.

I liked the language much better than the John Wayne version.

The way Jeff Bridges talked reminded me of Billy Bob Thornton in Sling Blade.

I didn't comment because I thought the movie was just so-so.

I watched it. Meh. It was alright. The acting was very good, but the story itself wasn't great to begin with and didn't really get any better in the "remake".

Premise is good.

Brilliant pre-teen/tween/teen in the old west not so believable, but hey, it happens. Don't necessarily think she would have got away with as much "mouth wise" as she did, but the actress did a great job.

Bridges excels, again, in another role that still won't overshadow him playing The Dude. Guy's been nominated for what, like 6 or 7 roles, and the only time he wins is for a movie no one watched.

J.W. was better. I can't take Bridges seriously after Tron:Reloaded & The Big Lebowski.
I just look at him and giggle...
