I wear timberland pro. I have big wide feet (15 eee) and they fit perfectly. 110 $ and I go through a pair a year. I'm an electrician and wear them at least 5 days a week.

Cane is right about Danner boots, the entire 10 years that i was in law enforcement i only wore Danners, i wear the "Acadia" boot.they are comfortable,VERY durable, and are waterproof "Gortex". they are a little pricey but you will have these boots for a long time. the last pair that i bought was in 2008 and i still have them and they are still in great shape.

I found Asolo FSN 95's years ago and will stick with them until no longer made!

Perfect for daily wear, kegger's, or 3 season hiking/backpacking.
Light, well made, available in extra wide, and you can find them in your price range.
Danners also very good...wore those prior to finding the 95's.

Any Wolverine Multishox boot that you can get on your foot. Those are my go to boots on days, I need a boot and will be on my feet for hours!

If not A leather boot, either New Balance with the Abzorbz gel pad under the heel AND ball of the foot, or my next pair of walkers/hikers will be Cabela's X4 hikers, they are the NB Abzorbz for approx. $20 less.
