Was he speaking of Walmart management?

My local Wallyworlds are mostly non FFL, so they are only good for ammo. Their ammo lockers look like they have been raped and pillaged. Very little handgun ammo, some rifle ammo, but plenty of shotgun shells. At the one I go to most of the time, one of the clerks who is in sporting goods mostly was telling me that they order large amounts, and receive them, but have been overrun by people buying the ammo up.

Just visited 1 store today.

@ 70% of the ammo was gone, bought the last of the 22LR

bulk packs, popular pistol ammo was going fast.

Half of the rifles rack's display models were missing.

I wish I had a dunhams still around me. They had good sales. And some what cheap surplus ammo. I wasnt happy when I came home from boot camp and A-school to find out they went out of business.

Folks,

Take a look at this, the frenzy! Waiting for background checks in excess of 4 hours. Massive lines at LGS's and gun shows. At gun shows prices are off the charts.

I went to Gander Mountain last night and their pistol ammo was almost cleaned out, rifle ammo was flying off the shelves and they had sold their very last AR when I went to see how many they had left.

I just came from our local Walmart and to my surprise they still had semi auto rifles in the rack. There were only two but I've never seen more than two or three in there anyways. I couldn't tell what caliber but one looked to be a .22 cal M4 style, not sure about the other. Also ammo prices didn't seem to be any higher.

I was at the dicks sporting goods before Walmart and not only did they pull thier semi auto rifles but all ammunition except shotgun shells are gone. No pistol ammo, no rifle ammo whatsoever.

Visited my local WM today, 5 boxes of .223 (one of them was open), no .45 ACP of any kind, 3 boxes of 40 S&W 135gr Hydrashocks, no 9mm of any kind, plenty of .357 mag ammo, no .22LR, no 7.62x39, 2 boxes of .270, plenty of 12ga slugs, birdshot and a limited amount of 00 buckshot. They had a SIG AR look alike in .22 in the case but it was mostly shotguns and a few turnbolts.
