Don't complain, we'd never get that sorta stuff on TV over here!

Also enjoyed the series, and had similar questions to yours.

my thoughts...

assume that everything was already ransacked by the time they got there.

a Tank would need ALOT of fuel for them to move anywhere...name of the game is stay light and moving.

considering the .50? same thing...the gun alone must weigh around 30lbs. plus hauling the huge ammo. and I'm pretty sure that if you look closely, the .50s only have a few rounds left in em where they lie

30# for a Browning M2. Try 130# with out ammo or tripod. There is a real good reason why they are mounted on TANKS. They weigh a TON. If I was going to have a heavy MG like that. The Mk19 Mod4 take the cake. 40mm HE would take out 10 to 20 zombies over the 50. If you want to cut a path or dead undead bodies the Mk19 is the way to go.

Thanks for the weight correction.

I don't know about the mk19 though...I think I'd still take a .50 with AP rounds.

A grenade takes out mutliple zombies as well as any possible collateral around it.

a .50 AP can rip through vehicles and multiple people...just think of how many rotting skinned zombies it'll take down if theyre lined up

Maybe I think to much(it is possible).

I did enjoy the series alot don't want to make it sound like I didn't.

But if this 'ole world ended up greasy side up I know my 1st inclination would be to fight dirty.

Stand on top of a building with a couple of cases of Molotov cocktails( thanks for the correct spelling Eric0424) and a couple of deer rifles.

Put about 10-15 of those Walkers down then wait for them to bunch up and start throwing Heat.

The burning dead flesh smell would be priceless.

Some Claymores,or a Mk19 Mod4,an M-79, or an M-203 would also be helpfull.

I would rather fight The Walking Dead any day and twice on Sundays over Terminators or Cylons.

Terminators and cylons have to have wifi to get orders. So you just hack the wifi (IF YOU HAVE A MACBOOK ONLY) then you just upload a virus that makes them all kill themselves and war over in under 1 hour.

Things I don't understand:

1) When in Atlanta why not use pipe bombs,Molative Cocktails, or rocks from 3 or 4th story buildings against the Walkers?

2) Once in Atlanta then at the CDC the group could have acquired a .50 Browning Heavy Machine Gun and a Tank and didn't!?

3) When ever a parked car/truck/or van was passed why not siphon gas?

4)Why couldn't they locate Gun Shops/Sporting Goods/Army & Navy Surplus Stores in Atlanta or the surrounding areas?

What do Ya'll think?
I think there was more wrong with it than that.

Horse? I get stuck on this point often.

I was just pokin' your ribs a little, I'm glad you have sense of humor, most don't when you pick on spelling or key-stoke errors.

Glad someone else has a good sense of humor also.

My spelling is notorusly awefull.

notdku I thought the horse Idea was hair-brained as well.

I would have within 2-3 months cleaned up Atlanta if I could find the right weapons & equipment.

That's a run-on sentence. Three sentences in one. It should be separated into three sentences. Shame on you.
