I'm wondering if he has something in the tea, maybe a low dose of methadone or something to keep them coming back.

Yeah, there is SOMETHING to that "tea"...it was mentioned by the guv'nah early on as one f the main reasons he liked the little weasel...then the mass consumption of it during breakfast.

Now, what that something is? But another of many questions raised by last nights episode. 'tis why i say it was a good episode last night.

I don't think the tea is significant. They mentioned it on the talking dead. Apparently it was just a "joke" or something for one of the writers that drinks tea all the time.

a "joke" in the books....but as we have seen, these producers dont follow the book very closely.

I dont think it would be a budding story line if the producers werent going to use later down the line...but i could be wrong, i have been once or twice before

Ah ok, I thought they meant one of the writers for the show, not the comic. Haven't read them.

I liked merle's stump cover. It looked like it had weaver or picatinny rails on it so he could attach tools, like his bayonet. Neato!

Just re-read your post after watching talking dead (on demand) i see what you were saying...but i think now that people have "discussed" it they may make it "something"...we'll see.

It occurs to me that i haven't heard any mention of quasi-necrophilia in this series. Too much for TV?
Zombie hooker hummers would have to be risky.
