Yeah a lot of the stuff concerning guns is messed up but I love the show anyway. Getting very dark indeed but at least there's tons of zombie kills!
Poor Herschel though!

The real dark stuff is coming. Wait until the new alpha male comes into the story line. Talk about twisted. 
It's one of the best shows on TV right now, to be honest. I only watch a few shows religiously, and after last season this one was on it's way to "watch it if I have time land" but this first episode has given me hope.

I notice back in season 2 that none of the guns had recoil and andrea had the worlds only berretta 92 that would cycle another round w/o the slide moving . where can i get one of them ? At least Rick had to work the bolt on his but I saw no brass come out .... hmmmmm

That's because ricks gun is a revolver python! Lol there is no bolt and the brass isn't gonna eject out the side! Lol

There is a scene in the last episode of 2nd season where Rick is just outside of the barn, I think right after Herschel's son got attacked in the rv. He fires off 4-5 rounds all with recoil. It looks very unnatural and he fires immediately after the gun settles each time. Have to give him credit for remembering to fake it at least.

First episode Rick was playing Charles Whitman in the guard tower at the prison and had a hunting type rifle that he was "cycling" as zombies hit the dirt.

Yep, gun effects are a joke...same thing on Falling Skies.
Was quite dissapointed with Season 3 premier.
Really... Who takes the senior citizen "and only member with medical training" on a cell to cell search for supplies?
Yeah, yeah, I know there all civi's but common sence should tell anyone to leave the doc in the rear with the gear.

Oh geez, just turned on survival of the dead. A guy shot a zombie in the chest with a flare gun and his head caught fire. Then he lit a cigarette off of his flaming head and then kicked him over the edge of the boat... Lol
