I was thinking these exact things, a 550 box of 22lr probably woulda took care of every walker there, go to an upstairs window and have a couple people reloading mags and start givin em hell. Also figured I woulda ran em down with the trucks and how about all those head shots out of moving cars with handguns, those guys are good!

Ya I just saw that movie again last week, you are right in those movies and I am Legend and Resident Evil they are viral infected humans, not really walking dead zombies that would decompose. I prefer the true zombie flicks to the superhuman viral infected ones.

A pile of meat + 1lb of tannerite + 300 winmag + tree stand = One hell of fun day but you gotta wait for them to bend down and start eating , right when the face gets close to it . Am I the only one who thinks like that ?

Yes, there were some walkers munching on a dog in one scene; i bleve it was right before they started following the helicopter. There was also the incident in which the cow, then Dale were partially eaten. It would seem these zombies aren't very particular about their feed.
You would need live bait, not just meat, methinks. That's one way to rid yourself of a Randall.
I think the scene at the farmhouse might've been a realistic use for a 10-22 Charger model & some of those ruger-made banana mags.

Rick and Shane just used blood from their cut hand to bait em in and stab em in the head with their knives, I would think bloody meat would bait em in

I forgot that; you may be onto something. I wonder if they could get a mess of those hooks from the gator-fishing show?
It does seem like you would get a lot of zombie-on-zombie gnawing and such with them being attracted to any old dead meat, though.

As far as the meat as bait, remember they tried a canned ham to get the walker out of the well. Ended up using glen as bait.
Anybody remember calico arms had a kit that coupled 2 10/22 s sxs with a hand crank wheel that when turned cams would strike the trigger. I believe they had hundred round drums feeding each receiver. The stocks were off. This was back in the 80s, seems that would dispatch them human buggers pretty good.

They also ate rick's horse in atlanta near the begining of season 1. Remember they pulled him down off the horse and he managed to crawl under the tank.
