I think Merle is still working for the governer. Because he has more to gain with the governer. He's just wanted to go to make sure his brother doesn't get killed.

All I can say is if something exciting doesn't happen soon I will begin to lose interest. This season seems to have a large amount of episodes with really no action or excitment of any kind, a lot of informational "filler" episodes. And again I will say I hope the next "important" character to get killed is Andrea. I simply can no longer tolerate her stupidity and pi$$ poor decision making.

I prefer a little action break. They are developing the characters a little more. Its still the best show on tv!!

Agreed, there has to be a boring low key episode every now and then. It shows the survivors are still human and do more than just smashing zombies heads. Its what makes it different and better. Nonetheless im still anxious for the battle.

The show could use a zombie feeding feast like George Romero put in all his films. Maybe have Woodbury be there buffet.

So...predictions for the upcoming battle?

I KNOW we are going to lose a key player or two.....and I think Andrea will play a key role in the demise of the Gov. I think she may lose her life in the process though, sort of a sacrifice for the group.

Just FYI, season 4 is currently being filmed as we speak so I hope we dont lose TOO many bodies in the group!!

Well Rick said last episode he kinda wanted Hershel to talk him out of the battle so my first prediction is that they'll either try to take out the gov before the battle. Sneak into Woodbury and assassinate him OR they'll realize they're outgunned and out numbered and sneak away.

If there is a battle i think the gov will survive but because all or most of his men are killed and he retreats only to resurface later. He's much too important for them to just kill, him and rick are like ying and yang.

I kind of gathered he wanted Herschel to talk him out of giving up Michonne. But I also think he's sure there will be a war even if he does give her up.
