"The Walking Dead" on Blu-ray
Just spun up the first episode of the first season on Blu-ray.
It looks awesome in comparison to the regular-season run on AMC. For some reason, DIRECTV where I live doesn't carry the AMC hi-def feed.....so I see the best shows on TV (Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and now this one) in lousy-definition feed. And AMC's regular feed is really lousy.
I'm gonna enjoy this, heh-heh-heh..........

i can't get a definite date on season 2, have you heard?
and of ALL the guns that they have, NO AR-15s or M-16s yet.........you'd figure there would be tons of them in and around the military, like the tanks (hell, why didn't he just drive it off n over'em), or the hospital with all the helicopters and trucks.

Yeah, there were plenty of M16s in some of the scenes, but that would only show the value of a semi auto rifle in a serious use situation. Can't have that.
No idea about the start of season 2 yet.

I expected more from the series. It was kind of paint by the numbers. I still can't wait for season 2, though.
