True.....she also died about 10 yeaes ago when she was 7-8 yo I think. She also was living in a state trout park.....that's another thing in her defense

I would never put a collar on an animal that is free ranging. Too easy for the collar to snag on a branch or whatever and harm or kill the animal.

The only thing I can figure is it was a private adoption between two people/families with no agency involved.
