I think there is a fine line between "nutbag" and "brilliant". One of the smartest doctors I ever worked for was also crazy as a loon. Good thing he was a pathologist. I don't think he would have been successful working as any other kind of doctor.

Breaking up a dog fight....
I think this cop is absolutely crazy to shoot at two dogs fight in the back of a pickup truck. You can hear a dog yelping after the first few gun shots. Then a cop shoots with a shotgun. I'm pretty sure both dogs died. This all within steps of a school and a crowd of on lookers. I don't think this situation warranted firing of any guns.
