Default It was only a matter of time...

It's about time
Quote:
Congressional Black Caucus Discovers Entire English Language is a Racist Code Word
Responding to Republican criticism of UN Ambassador Susan Rice for claiming that the Benghazi attack on the US mission and annex there had been caused by a photo of a stuffed teddy bear named Mohammed, Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, the leader of the Congressional Black Caucus and Chairwoman of the House Subcommittee on 40 Acres, an Obamaphone and a Mule denounced any attacks on Rice as “horridly and unspeakably racist.” While Fudge could not point to any single word that was racist, she insisted that every single word used to criticize Rice was a racist code word. “If the language is being used to criticize a black person then we must deem such language to be irreparably and irrevocably racist,” Fudge said. “Every word that is used to disguise the racist intentions of a racist political movement must be deemed a racist code word disguising the true racist intentions of the racists who make use of them.” Congressman Jim Clyburn went even further. “The entire English language was created by slaveowners as a means of oppression. You can’t just say that one word is a racist code word or another. The whole language, every single word, letter and apostrophe in it is racist. It’s a fact. If you speak English, you’re a racist.” Democrats rushed to conduct conference calls over this new development worried about the consequences of continuing to use the racist English language. Some called for staffing the Democratic Party entirely with illiterates, while others argued that such a measure would be entirely redundant. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was reportedly taking Spanish lessons from Mayor Bloomberg in preparation for the Democratic Party’s shift to conducting all business in broken Spanish. Barnard College announced that it was immediately shutting down its English literature program and burning its collection of medieval English manuscripts to protest the Saxon oppression of Africa. Hope was however restored when Congressman Clyburn was lured out of his mansion with an offer of a 3 million dollar grant to a museum of basket weaving in his name, and was persuaded to clarify his remarks. “All Republicans is racist,” Congressman Clyburn said, “therefore whenever they use English, they are using it to hiddenly express racist ideas. Whenever they speak, they are speaking entirely in racist code words. But when Democrats like us speak English, we’re using tolerance code words.”And so it was settled. Anything a Republican says in English is racist. Any racial slur used by a Democrat is however a hidden tolerance code word. Republicans responded to this development with their usual extremism by ridiculing the cry of the oppressed and refusing to repudiate their racism. A number of leading establishment Republicans however have suggested that this represents an opportunity for their party to embrace the future by switching to Spanish. “The greatness of America is that it means the same thing in every language,” Senator McCain said. “It doesn’t matter if we say ‘opportunity’ or ‘smaller government’ in English, Spanish or Swahili. It doesn’t matter if we even call the country America. What matters is that we stay focused on our message of selling out everything that makes America, America, in the name of deregulating some 20 percent of the regulations that the Democrats imposed in the last ten years. And then not even doing that much.” Latino groups affiliated with the Democratic Party responded to the proposal by denouncing the colonization of the Spanish language by Yankee imperialists and Attorney General Eric Holder promised that the Justice Department would investigate any instances of Republicans speaking Spanish and treat such cases as hate crimes.

Liberals are constantly telling us about the poor and oppressed in this country. With that in mind, why do they feel the need to keep importing poor people from other countries?

Default Man Shoots Girlfriend in Fight Over "The Walking Dead"

http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Walking-Dead-TV-Show-Couple-Fight-Shooting-Girlfriend-Attempted-Murder--182066071.html?dr

Quote:
Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly shooting his girlfriend during a heated argument over the television show "The Walking Dead," authorities say. Jared Gurman, 26, was charged with attempted murder after shooting his girlfriend with a .22-caliber rifle at his Williston Park home early Monday morning, police said Tuesday.
The unidentified woman suffered a pierced lung, shattered rib and pierced diaphragm. She is in stable condition.
According to Nassau County police, Gurman was out with his girlfriend when the two began arguing over "The Walking Dead," a television cable drama about a man who wakes from a coma to a world dominated by zombies. Gurman apparently felt strongly that a "military mishap" could occur on the show.
"He felt very adamant," Detective Lt. Raymond Cote said at a news conference Tuesday. "There could be military mishap that would result in some sort of virus being released that could cause a terrible thing to happen."
The argument became so heated the woman decided she didn't want to spend the night with Gurman and would drop him off at his home.
"She felt it was ridiculous," said Cote. "He's passionate about it. And it escalated to the point it did."
After she brought Gurman home, he continued to argue with her by text message, authorities said. The dialogue became so "angry and bitter," according to police, that the woman felt compelled to return to his home to check on him.
When she arrived at about 2:30 a.m., she found him outside the door with a .22-caliber rifle.
"She tried to diffuse the situation, to calm him down," said Cote. "She was walking up the stairs when Mr. Gurman raised the rifle, pointed it at her and fired one round into her back, causing serious injury."
The woman pleaded with Gurman for help, and he brought her to the hospital to be treated, police said. Gurman initially told police the shooting was accidental but later admitted it was not.
The couple had been dating for about three and a half to four years, according to Cote. Gurman had three long guns in his home, which have since been seized, and was described by police as "passionate" about weapons.
A message was left with Gurman's attorney.
Douche bag nobility right there.

http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2012/12/05/handyman-held-hostage-in-morgan-hill-forced-to-fix-home/
Quote:
MORGAN HILL (CBS 5) — Two people who live in a large Morgan Hill home have been arrested on suspicion of holding a handyman hostage and forcing him to do home repairs.
Investigators said the 50-year-old victim was lured to a home on 200 block of Caldwell Court Monday morning. The sprawling 4,600 square foot home has five bedrooms and is equipped with a pool, a beach volleyball court, and a tennis court.
“He was assaulted, he was threatened with his life, and he was forced to do some work at the house,” Sgt. Jose Cardoza of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office told CBS 5.
Detectives said 36-year-old Jason DeJesus and 33-year-old Chanelle Troedson beat the handyman, threatened to kill him and forced him to fix several items in the house over a six-hour span. The repairs included a dishwasher and a broken door.
“The victim was pretty terrified. He was pretty shaken up and scared by this whole incident,” Cardoza said. “What he did tell investigators is that he was just trying to do what he was being told, wait for the opportunity to escape.”
On Monday night, authorities said the suspects forced the handyman into his truck. With one of the suspects driving, the victim was told they were traveling to a suspect’s relative’s house in Santa Clara to perform additional repairs.
They pulled over at a gas station on Santa Teresa Blvd. and Cottle Road in South San Jose. The handyman escaped when the suspects left to pay for gas and snacks. DeJesus and Troedson were arrested by police shortly after.
Other people who lived in the home declined to be interviewed by CBS 5.
Investigators said the handyman performed work for De Jesus’ mother two months ago.
“The work wasn’t performed to the likes of the suspect’s relative at the time, and on top of that there was dispute over services rendered, the victim wasn’t paid entirely. That kind of boiled over into what occurred last night,” Cardoza said.
DeJesus and Troedson face several felony charges including false imprisonment, kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, and conspiracy.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Sgt. Julian Quinonez or Detective Sgt. Dave Roberts at the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office at (408) 808-4500. Tips can also be left anonymously at (408) 808-4431.

That is literally right around the corner from my cousin's old house. Lots of McMansions out there that are built like crap on subdivided lots right next door to mini ranch properties.

I suspected as much. Big expensive houses occupied by people who really couldn't afford them in the first place. Everyone say it together: "Predatory Lenders did this to me." How many are empty these days due to our current economy?

Thousands around here. Or at least it seems like it. Morgan Hill was a magnet for those types of McMansions because land is relatively cheap there because it is not technically in Silicon Valley. Contractors would buy up a large property and have it subdivided and then build these huge houses with cheapo materials that were shiny. They sold for a million bucks or more but the contractor would only have $150K into it, if that. When you drive down the streets in that town today there are abandoned houses all over the place.

http://www.climatedepot.com/a/18726/Fmr-Thatcher-advisor-Lord-Monckton-evicted-from-UN-climate-summit-after-challenging-global-warming--Escorted-from-the-hall-and-security-officers-stripped-him-of-his-UN-credentials
There's a lot more, but the basics are :
Quote:
Fmr. Thatcher advisor Lord Monckton evicted from UN climate summit after challenging global warming -- 'Escorted from the hall and security officers stripped him of his UN credentials'
Monckton to UN: 'In the 16 years we have been coming to these conferences, there has been no global warming'

Excerpt: UK's Lord Christopher Monckton gets evicted

After the news conference, and as diplomats gathered for the climate conference president's assessment of how close countries are to agreement, Monckton quietly slipped into the seat reserved for the delegation of Myanmar and clicked the button to speak.
"In the 16 years we have been coming to these conferences, there has been no global warming," Monckton said as confused murmurs filled the hall and then turned into a chorus of boos.
The stunt infuriated negotiators and activists here who gather every year to address what they believe is one of the world's top threats, the steady rise of man-made global warming.
As Monckton was escorted from the hall and security officers stripped him of his U.N. credentials, several people noted that just a few hours earlier a group of young activists had been thrown out of the convention center and deported. Their crime: unfurling an unauthorized banner calling for the Qatari hosts to lead the negotiations to a strong conclusion.
By late today, several activists attending the conference had posted calls to "deport Monckton" on their Twitter feeds.
I find it interesting that the UN get's their panties in a wad over someone pointing out credible scientific findings, but they seem to have no problems with dictatorial leaders who murder their own people. See: North Korea, Syria, Iran, so forth.
