On your CCW permit? You have to have them listed? Mine just states that I can carry.....

I think your carry gun should have some fouling in it. That is when guns work the best.

My Taurus PT111 Pro is on my hip as this is being typed. Cleaned/Tested and trusted.

Dont bash a company due to poor customer actions..
Three things:

A - I did clean and lube it,
2 - It would have failed when I test fired it, and
D - Read above, the point of my posting was not to dwell on the fact that I am a jackass to carry a weapon without first firing it, but to let you all know about a poor quality weapon. The fact that I am a foolish imbecile has no bearing on this point.

I have no doubt that Taurus has made a good weapon or two, but their QC sucks!!

...anyway, I used the full refund that the dealer gave me for the POS PT709 to purchase a Kahr P9. Hmmm, should I test fire it before I carry? But I digress. I will keep you all informed of its performance.

Then your problem is solved! Glad everything worked out. Better to find the faults of your firearm on the range than when you really need it to function!
Firearms safety, function, carry issues, etc are all a learning process. None of us wakes up one day knowing exery aspect of firearms handling, we all live and learn.

Let us know how that Kahr performs. I'm guessing you'll like it. As for taurus, well, I've heard horror stories for just about every firearm company there ever was.

Yes, will do. I am just learning the in's and out's of concealed carry so I will probably make a few more mistakes. I certainly learned my lesson on test firing before carrying. I also have a Ruger LCR with the laser grip; very nice and feather light.
