Default Unusual Guns

What's the most unusual or strangest gun you've ever seen?

A 58 caliber Colt root rifle cut down and converted into a Pistol!

A one of a kind 1890's era double/single barreld shotgun....
Two barrels tapering into the center to form one barrel....
I cringe to think what could happen if someone accidently pulled both triggers at once.....

Default Triple Barrel

About 15 years ago I saw a fellow at the range with a double barrel 12 gauge. It had a 3rd rifled barrel bellow and between the shotgun barrels.

He told me they were quite popular around the turn of the last century but I've never seen another.

TACK

A Dreilng (or Drilling in the US). From the German word for 3. Three barrel guns were popular in several European countries that restrict the number of guns a person can own,. A drilling is capable of taking birds and medium to large game. The craftsmanshiop of these was amazing. I have a friend with one that has pop up sights that activate when you switch from shotgun to rifle. The Luftwaffe issued Drillings to aircrews for survival guns.

Evenmore unusual would be a vierling. A four barreled combnation gun.

I've seen several Gyrojet guns(rifles and pistols). They shoot a small rocket instead of a bullet.

way back when i was preschool we made spoke guns. we robbed the spokes off old bicycle wheels , filled the long retaining nut with the white tips off kitchen matches , packed the match in tight for the bullet then held a match underneath to set it off.

My grandfather passed down a four barrel derringer in .357 magnum called a COP.
