The gyrojet, fired a triangular round called a " tround" which is actually a rocket that is supposed to continue to speed up the longer it flies.

Gyrojet (rocket pistol) WAS ugly, but did not shoot the Tround. That was the Dardick Automatic Revolver- ugly in it's own way.

That thing looks like someone had the parts for a Colt 1911, an 1864 Colt Dragoon and had Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller put it back together!
