Ugliest... That 68' Chryler New Yorker I mentioned on the "first car" thread HANDS DOWN!!.. It was muted hunter green with a faded vinyl top and black interior that was HELL in the Southern Summers !!!
Best vehicle I've ever owned... Every one that was paid off and running!!

Actually... My favorite was the 97' Mitsubishi Montero. We took some great family trips in that SUV and it always started, got us there and back no problems. My wife's favorite was her 90' Nissan 240SX.... EVERYONE who drove that car got a speeding ticket in it!! It was so quick & smooth you never noticed exactly how fast you were actually going!!

Without a doubt the biggest POS was a 88 Pontiac Sunturd my ex bought. Before it had 40000 miles on it I had put 3 sets of brakes, the thermostat had stuck and she wasn't smart enough to shut it down before it got hot enough to shut down. She unloaded it for 90 Pontiac Grand Am that headed in the same direction.
Just so you don't get the idea I have a dislike for Pontiac (I do by the way) the ugliest and the sportiest was a 1975 Pontiac Grand Prix. 400 big block . I know it's sad that the sportiest car I ever owned was a boat!
More of a truck and Jeep guy.....My idea of sporty!!!!!

I had a 1992 dodge colt hatchback. It carried 5+ snowboards, got 40+ MPG and went through snow like a champ. It also had rally lights on the front of it. I miss that car.

Worst car I've ever had is a tie between a 1983 Mercury Capri (total piece of crap) and a 1984 Oldsmobile 88 (even uglier than my 1985 Mercedes 300D).

Best car I've had is a tie between a 2003 BMW 330ci convertible (just a blast to drive, not terribly reliable) and my current 2011 VW Jetta (never had one problem with it and very tight).

Ok.

First car was the ugliest. A 1980 Vauxhall Cavalier. Vauxhall because I lived in England at the time.

Coolest car I owned in England was a 1994 Mini Cooper S. That car cornered like nothing else on the planet.

My first American car was a 1985 Chevy Caprice wagon. Not a woody thank god. Would have liked to customize it but the tranny went.

Worst car was an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Leaked everything constantly.

Coolest car overall is my current 2011 Mustang. Fast, muscular looking and pretty good on gas to boot. Love this car.

Oh, and we still have the best vehicles we've owned. I still drive our old 97 Toyota 4Runner. Wife upgraded to a 2007 Tacoma.
