DefaultU.s. Plane Forced To Land After Entering Iran Airspace

Developing story, just came across the wires.

Update: The pilots were reportedly released, so this isn't the huge story it initially seemed to be. Still, it makes you wonder if GW wants to start one last war before leaving office.

A Hungarian business jet. And no, Bush is not trying to start a war, get over it.

Initial report was that it was a U.S. warplane that was forced down. Who knows what really happened. I thought it was interesting and posted as the news was breaking.

Get over what? We currently have hot wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Would one more in the region really be that out of character?

Yeah, the news-bimbo reporting it said it was an "F-A/18 with six generals aboard". What, they have stretch-limo Hornets, now?

It was telling that Reuters jumped all over this as soon as Fars (Iranian news agency) reported it. Reuters didn't validate or question a damned thing. Nothing new, I guess.

And the last report I saw was that the incident actually dates to Sept 30!

Just so you know, American fighter jets don't get "forced down". Nice dig at the President of the United States though, Quasi.
