Default U.K. Gun Law?

You guys know I love England, it's where I plan to live out my golden years.

Diana Rigg is a fair treat.

Davy just confused me on gun laws, though. Shottys are unrestricted? Or do I have to jump some hoops?

And what about ammo?

You guys can't have a decent knife, so illuminate me, please.

Default U.K. Gun Law?

Hi There,

Shotguns are quite common in UK, although they have to be licenced. Once a licence is obtained which is not that difficult to obtain. There is no limit on the number of guns one can own or the ammount of ammo you keep. Autos have to be restricted to 3 shot and weapons and ammo must be kept in a steel gun cabinet. On licence application you must proove you have somewhere to shoot but simply joining a Clay club can take care of that. Or if you move to UK you would be more than wecome to join me rough shooting on local farmland That I have permision to shoot.

Hope that clears it up for you Benning.

Take care
