Savior, The Twighlight Zone Movie was done in the '80's, so yes, there was a remake. Well done and even had Captain Kirk.

As far as a TV show to be redone, I vote Gilligan's Island. I wonder who would play the uber-hot MaryAnn? The characters can be written again and again with that series.

I have not seen the Hawaii 5-O re-do mainly because it ran opposite of Monday Night Football and well...

I did watch a few of the Knight Rider remakes and it sucked more than suck. Very bad and the original was marginal at best. The same with the A-Team, never dug it as every episode was the same.

How about the Six Million Dollar Man? Steve Austin could cost about a billion now. The difference would be that he won't marry Farrah unless he is the Billion Dollar Necro.

Drugs and alcohol. Mainly due to his career being kiilled by a near death experience auto accident. His speech is slurred and his reaction time is sad, very sad.

Airwolf would be great to redo with the affects and everything else that can be done today.

Gilliagan's island could be epic funny with the right people.

OH FTF Gilligans Island. I smell a new thread.

That's the one that came immediately to my mind.

I loved Airwolf and would love to see a remake, especially with CGI available today. That could be epic.

Cover Up: The original had Jon Eric Hexim, who originally killed himself, and the show's chances, with a piss poor example of an on site weapons master. The guy they brought in to replace him for the last half season, oddly, reminds me of IGETEVEN in his hayday.

The new show would have someone like Ryan Reynolds or Chris Evans in the lead roll, someone big enough to pull off the fights and stunts, but still eye candy for the ladies. And the ladies would all be top shelf hotties, not rejects from America's Next Top Model or some waif induced sickness like that.

Stingray: Would probably have to be updated to include corporate sponsorship, which would ruin the premise though. That show was cool and the idea behind it launched a TON of other TV shows that basically lifted right from the plot lines.

I'd be game for any of the old classic westerns like Have Gun, Will Travel; Laredo; or even Gunsmoke...

LOL, I am humbled again by you JD, and I did like that show, but only saw it in old reruns, and yes there is a some resemblance to myself and Tony Hamilton.

We both wore a green Bennie, had big knives, ate beans out of a can and ran around in the jungle and even rode horses...but I never wore a speedo for, or on a mission. I have gone "commando" though, many times!
