Biggest snapper i ever saw was about 30" long and 24" wide. The turtles neck was 4-5" in diameter. Made a comment that was one big snapper. My fisherman buddy Rich said: That's not a snapping turtle." Poked the turtle with my walking stick and he easily snapped it. Rich said: "Glad you did that because i was going to put my hand down there to prove it wasn't a snapper."

Now, think back to those videos that were posted about catfish noodlin'...that might be a cause for concern. You wouldn't catch me noodlin' in waters i could see what I would sticking my hand into. Either those boys are crazy, fearless, or both.

No, They are mainly in the Gulf water ways.

They don't always pay attention to shaded areas, Have you passed out copies to all the AST's, so they know where to stay and not stray out of their zones.
