I began feeling my age the day I administered the oath of enlistment to my GRANDSON !

Had it rubbed in last May. Youngest daughter's b-day, got her something she really liked. Grinning, hugged me, said "Oh, Daddy- I'll pick out a NICE nursing home for ya!"

In the meantime, all you youngsters, just remember- age and cunning beats youth and exuberance!

I think it's a simple, when I was kid I thought I knew everything, as a young man knew I had much to learn, now at mid life still understand there is still much to learn but also have expereinced enough to to be able to advise/mentor the young. Free advice is just that, those that learn from there elders will become better people, those that ignore the advice given are destined to repeat the mistakes.
