Is this true
I was over on the Sig forum today as I love their "rant" section as it's really funny. The topic was people that drive crappy cars with mega sound systems in them and blasting away to the irritation of everyone. Anyway, one poster mentioned that folks actually RENT big rims & tires for their cars so they can be cool on the weekends. Can this be true? Has our society devolved to this point?
I know a few years ago, my brother (a mechanic at Ford) had a fella bring in his Navigator and during the conversation the guy mentioned he only had 2 monthly payments: his truck and the rims/tires on it. I cracked up hearing about financing big rims, but the thought of renting them really makes me wonder. Ok folks, is this true, can you rent big rims & tires for the weekend???

There was a place near my house that was "rent to own" wheels and tires.
I dont think it lasted more than a year or so.
Yes even in Salt Lake City it can happen...

100% true. There are several companies in this area that "rent" rims and tires. The shops are VERY popular in three communities in the Tacoma area.

There is a rent-to-own wheel place here in town; it seems to specialize in chrome & LARGE.

Another true vote here. You do have to live in the right area and it is cash only. You can also rent stereo systems and ground effects.

I guess that in those neighborhoods, an "Intelligence Rental" agency would be a bust, as would a "Get an Actual Job" agency.

i knew people in jersey that had a million dollar home drove a 7 series bmw and a 500 benz. They had furniture in their bedroom and family room and were making payments on all of that too. To rent a center.
I must admit too that I had such piss poor credit at one time I had to do a rent to own on a COMPAQ computer. So yes you can rent rims I am sure of it.
