Default Trench Art

Since I got my SKS, I've gotten interested in trench art. Mine has some tally marks on the left side, and my M1 Carbine has initials. I've seen some very nice ones on other forums on SKS's, AK's, and other mil-surps. Does anyone have any mil-surps with some trench art?

My Carcano 91/24 has what appears to be initials(D.P.) and possibly taly marks on the right side of the stock (around 15 of them). Wish I could post pics, but when I try the app crashes :-(

Some of those really just look like scratches to me.

After my house was robbed last year, I carved my initials in the inside of the grip panels of my 1911. Don't know how much difference that would make, since I've done some personalized work to it anyway, and have the serial in my wallet.

I know, I know... should have it memorized.

I keep an eye out for it on surplus rifles when I'm at Cabelas, but I never see any.

There's a Type 52 Mosin at a pawn shop in my area and there is Chinese letters/characters carved in the stock. It one of the best looking Type 53s I've seen.
