Agree on Restrepo and Blackhawk Down.

For a mini-series, 2 from PBS-

And I really, really, really, want them to do a modern, gritty, remake of Sargent York. No one in hollyweird likes to do WWI movies.
Yea that would be good but who would play york?

Matthew Mcconahey

Not my favorite actor but atleast he would have a true southern accent and box office draw.

Nobody would replace Gary Cooper.

UXB is the term for Unexploded Bomb. The series is about a British EOD unit working in England during WW 2, dealing with the bombs (some time delayed) dropped during the Blitz. I have the box set, but you can catch most of the series on You Tube. Enough romance the wives and girlfriends would like it.

Town Like Alice (corrected name) LONG series, deals with the brutal treatment of British and Australian citizens interned by japan during WW2 in the far East.
