Sigourney looks good with Michael Biehn showing her how to operate the assault carbine, sure.

I remember:

-- Chuck Conners with his modified Winchester in The Rifleman

-- Steve McQueen's sawed off Winchester in Wanted Dead Or Alive

-- Davy Crockett's .32 percussion rifle at the Alamo

-- Eastwood's Colt Navy in the spaghetti westerns

-- and of course Eastwood's Model 29 loaded with 44 special ammo in the Dirty Harry flicks.

When I myself finally became a rifleman, I didn't want no teenaged queen, I just wanted an M-14. And so they gave me one. It was a fine rifle and I would never want any other kind. In fondest memories thereof, I now own my second Ruger Mini.

And as Gian Volonte famously said in one of the spaghetti westerns, when a man with a pistol meets a man with a rifle, the man with the pistol is a dead man.
