This lady speaks English fairly well, with a slight accent…but, as the letter shows, she has spent no time learning written English. She told my wife the other day she tried to go on a two-way e-mail chat line with a yarn supplier about a question she had. They wrote her that they could not understand a word she was writing. A grandfather told his grandson, "My son there is a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, integrity, humility, kindness, empathy, and truth."
The boy thought for a moment, then asked, "Grandfather, which one wins?”
The old man quietly replied, "the one you feed."
