Yeah, there's a memory. I talked a friend out of joining the Navy

with me, he wanted to come along. A few weeks later he took

his life. I was numb. How could I have known he needed focus

this badly? I can't help feeling like he would have been OK, if he

had joined up with me.

You can't know that. Maybe Navy life would have been even worse for him.

Trez, my dad had many scouts over his lifetime, and now just has one. At one time he even put a Pacer bode, not sure what car company made it?? car with all the windows on a scout frame for cold weather hunting. lol
Now he just has one. He always said they were about the best kind of vehicle there was for hunting.

Yeah, a couple of guys committed suicide at basic, over a period of many

months. But it's small comfort.

I would take a list, and it is a long one, and go back to buy all the guns on that list of guns, that I let go, and buy them all back at the original prices, so I would not have to pay, what I do now, to re-populate my safe, and would never let them go again.

And I would never, ever, sell my Jeep CJ-5, Because "we need a car now that we have kids" That' the same reason I had to sell my guns!
