Default Time for a little class - a new game

Alright guys and gals time to break out your old books from college or high school and join in the fun.

Everyone knows who William Shakespear is and there are a plethora of quotes that he has made famous.

So here is the game… I’m going to post a quote from the master thespian and you need to respond with a quote of your own, however, It may not be from the same play.

This may sink like a heard of lead turtles but let’s give it a try…

Here is my quote: 'cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war'
Julius Caesar

And in their triumph die, like fire and powder,
Which as they kiss consume."

"Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and howlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."

Macbeth

To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end ....

Hamlet 3/1

Made glorious summer by this son of York;

In the deep bosom of the ocean buried.

You spotted snakes with double tongue
Thorny hedgehogs, be not seen;
Newts and blindworms, do no wrong,
Come not near our fairy queen.

For me, there HAS to be one-

This day is call'd the feast of Crispian:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a' tiptoe when this day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian. . . .
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words. . .
Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb'red.

Henry The Fifth Act 4, scene 3, 40–55

This one fits me ....

"I am a man more sinned against than sinning".

King Lear - (Act III, Scene II).
