Sounds like a responsible young lady, Bear. Good job.
Know exactly what you are saying Bear my daughter 17 also has to take the theory part of her test on Friday. I am sure we will worry about them until we pass to the lord. However I am sure we will pass on to our maker in the sure and clear knowledge ( we did the best we could and are proud of them )

And what's worse is that as fast as it seems to be going now, it doesn't slow down. Seems like it keeps getting faster and faster.

BTW: Nice jumper Davy

Looks like you raised her well, Bear, and taught her the value of working hard to achieve a goal. Good job!

She is blessed with a daddy that loves and cares for her. She's miles ahead of 1/3 of today's kids!

They do grow up fast!

Bear, it's amazing how fast the time goes by. I remember my oldest as a baby - and now she's 32 and a lawyer in Manhattan. The first car will cause you some sleepless nights but I'll bet you raised her right and she'll make good decisions.

BTW, I had standing orders (from spouse) to immediately execute any fella that looked at either of my daughters - amazing they both found husbands...

I have an 18 year old that just started college the past fall. It seems like yesterday I was with her catching her first fish (She was 4). She took me for a drive in her first car not all that long ago(She saved every penny for it too) and I never felt so old on my life. She's still the baby girl that wanted to jump in mud holes while wearing a frilly dress. She would NOT wear pants...Because she said girls should wear pretty dresses. Apparently while jumping in mud holes..lol

Man, it don't get any easier for Dads with little girls. I've been saying her whole life she would come home with a man like me one day and I"ll kill that S.O.B.

Bear, you know it's not that expensive to get that car equipped with a GPS tracking device nowadays. A blackberry would allow you much the same security/trackability but might be more fun for her. My sister & brother-in-law use their blackberry phones to let my sis keep up with her hubby when he is driving a load.

17? It was 15 when i got my DL; 17 would've saved me a few wrecks.
