Looking for a .22 pistol.either a 1911
or should I just go with this Glocky Cloney Thingy

I personally have benn looking into the Chiappa Arms 22 1911 clone. I've heard some really good things

I have heard of problems with these. A few of them have hit the local for sale forums suddenly...

You silly man, 1911's were made to be .45, if JMB wanted it to be a .22 he would have made it like that.

My suggestion is a Ruger MarkIII for a .22 pistol. I love mine.

edit: I'm not very good at breaking it down and reassembling it yet, but I love the pistol.

A very neat .22 is one of the Sig P series. You buy the .22 version and it comes with a coupon that lets you buy the centerfire top end (and mag) for $399. You have a year to redeem the coupon so you can space out the purchase. I got my P220R SAO for $389 at Bud's last year...
