A 20 foot aluminum jon boat with a 35 hp will get the job done. The 35 is light on gas you can pull a tube all day long with less than 10 gallons of gas. Small boat engines are fairly easy to repair and maintain. Tracker boats with a small engine under 40 hp will get the job done. Once you get over 40 hp boat engines take a lot more gas.
