Default Is this thing a coyote or a fox?

WVU's mascot occasionally wears this thing that's hanging on his rifle as a cap in place of the normal coonskin one, and I can't tell what the damn thing is. Is it a 'yote or fox?

Looks like a coyote.

Is that the guy from the discover card commercials?

Coyote. Fox would have shorter legs and a much shorter tail.

I agree.....coyote. The size and color is not right for a fox.
