Know how you feel. A couple of mongrels had ideas about helping themselves to my truck. Doom on them, they quickly found themselves in the bed trying to avoid being eaten by my 4 Great Pyrennes Mountain dogs. I gave them a ten second head start to get off my property before I let the dogs go after them. I don't think that they will be coming back.

They used the same doors on the 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton trucks through the mid 90s so a wing vent should be easy to find

Those damned wing windows cost more than the roll-up window does IIRC. Just talking about that today with my mom and my son.
