2. Probably very true.
3. Look back at 1.
4. Lugers are AWSOME! and the ammunition is common.
Yes, the Lugar is awesome, but it can get dirty quick and is complicated compared to modern pistols. Both are reasons the germans switched to the P38.

What if you get one chambered in .357 or .44, the reason I think it's not a good choice is the fact that it's not reliable at all.

Eh, probably very true, but I really like the way they look. And think about how you would feal looking down a thin tube, seeing little more than a thin tube, knowing it can kill you at any second.

Also, I bet it is a pretty light gun, looks like it is just the bare basics of a pistol.

Anyway here are the guns I would take.
1. Mosin Nagant M44 carbine
2. Glock 17 Gen 4
3. Some AKM type rifle

Wait, you are talking about .50 rounds, .357 rounds, and .44 rounds fired from a Desert Eagle, is there a modification or something needing to be made to the gun to go from one round to another, or can you just fire one round, put in a different round and fire that with the same mechanisms?

No. You have to change the barrel and the magazine
